Emerging Photographer App for the iPad or iPhone.
Beginning in the Fall of 2011 and Spring 2012, you will now be able to view PDN's (Photo District News Magazine) brand new App, Emerging Photographer. Featured in this new App is a four page article that focuses on Michael Yamashita's journey, "The Forgotten Road" through parts of Tibet and China. A real photo-journalistic view of the personalities met, as well as, the mechanics behind the actual shot illustrated. It includes tips on how to shoot during certain weather conditions, and the tools he prefers when on assignment. Check it out: here

Featured in the newest Issue of Photographer’s i is Michael Yamashita’s journey through the footsteps of Marco Polo, taken from his book, Marco Polo: A Photographer’s Journey.
